Twin Gift

A friend of my husband's recently had twins. Even though I've never met the woman, I made them a gift. I remember how kind and generous everyone was when we had our twins, plus I get the excuse to hide out in my craft room for awhile.

Here's how I made it:

I used my Cricut to cut a Christmas tree shape out of cheap, Contact paper vinyl. I took the outlined shape and applied it to a paper doilie that my husband had picked up at a garage sale. (Yeah for thoughtful husbands!) Then I took green fabric paint and painted the tree, embroidered her name using my machine, and outlined the tree with a simple straight stitch.
